This week we have felt the first gentle warmth of spring. I have heard a number of people say how much more positive and motivated they feel when the weather is fine. Perhaps now is the time to reassess your priorities and get yourself back on track. In the article below, Ian Hutchinson discusses the concept of Time Management vs Priority Management, and provides you with some tips to help you get started. One of the most popular of our services over the last few months has been our Moving House services. I have provided you with some information regarding these services, and also some examples of how our clients have used Lifestyle Elements to help them through this stressful process. If you have any questions regarding our Moving House services or would like our assistance to help you manage your priorities and find more time, please don't hesitate to contact me on 08 8234 8657 or abbie@lifestyleelements.com.au Kind regards, Abbie

Time
Vs Priorities "We never have enough time to get everything done, but we do have time to do the most important things. What's important for you, your priorities, are shown in how you spend your time. Are they the priorities you want to be putting most of your energy into?"
Time Management has been an efficiency buzzword for many years. Yes, time
is increasingly becoming the most valuable commodity in our time poor
society. But the reality is that it is highly likely we will never get
any more than 24 hours in a day. Do you do what you think you ‘have to' do or ‘should' do? You ‘have to' go to work, you ‘should' clean the house, you ‘should' visit dear old Aunt Bessie. But at the same time you ‘should' exercise daily, you ‘should' meditate, you ‘should' keep on top of current affairs. You can't do everything, so having clarity about what is most important for you is the key. Actions Do what you ‘want to' more often than what you feel you ‘should' do. Do one ‘want to' thing this week. Work out what your three main priorities are in life. Are they health, work, family, relationship, social, spiritual, contribution to society, hobbies/creativity, intellectual growth, financial? Then ask yourself: Are you throwing enough energy into these priorities? If not, why not? How can you do more of your key priorities? Look at your priorities—are they yours, or someone else's? If others criticise you for ‘failing' to do something you ‘should' do, understand that this is only a reflection of their beliefs on priorities, not necessarily yours. Try spending five minutes prioritising your day—this action alone can make one of the biggest differences to your work life. Moving House Services Over the last few months, one of our most popular requests has been assistance with moving house. Moving house is one of the more stressful times of your life, and Lifestyle Elements is pleased to be able to offer a wide variety of services to help you every step of the way. Our services include:
One client contacted Lifestyle Elements to help them packing. She had two children under 5, and knew she was going to find it difficult to pack up the house in time for the removalist's arrival. Lifestyle Elements came in and packed one day and unpacked the next. Another client wasn't going to be able to be at the house due to work committments, so they rang us and asked Lifestyle Elements to arrange a removalist, and a cleaner, and asked us to be at the house when they arrived. We also organised a handyman to be at the new house, ready to put all the beds together.
